Bhalukpong (1 night)

Bhalukpong is a small town in West Kameng district and entrance gate of Arunachal Pradesh. This city is located 213 meters above sea level. It is bordered by the dense forest of the Pakhui Wildlife Sanctuary and on the banks of the Kameng River. While the tourist spots are not many, the whole place itself is an amazing package of entertainment with natural beauties, spectacular views and outdoor activities. It provides great opportunities for hiking, trekking, fishing and river rafting.

Bhalukpong, this Fort was built in the tenth century and is now in ruins but it refers to the place’s culture and ancient glory. The king Bhaluka built the fort.

Tipi is an orchid research center, which is located on the west bank of the Kameng River. Various types of orchids (over 50,600 species), museums, herbariums, butterflies and gardens will win your soul.

Pakhui Wildlife royal sanctuary is home to Royal Bengal tiger and many other animals and plant and trees. About 300 species of birds live here.

Dirang  (1 night)

Dirang is a tiny paradise village of West Kameng district in Arunachal Pradesh. Being a beautiful state of India, Arunachal Pradesh is not as popular as other tourist destinations in India. Located in Arunachal Pradesh, one of the top tourist destinations in the northeast, Dirang will bring peace and ease for real seekers of nature. The small village of Dirang captivates travellers with its beauty. Situating at 4900 feet high, it gives a pleasant weather condition that is very comfortable for explorers. This little hill station welcomes people with snow-covered mountains, fountains and greenery.  Dirang is actually used as a night halting spot, but this not cover to see the whole beautiful Dirang.

Tawang  (3 nights)

The small town Tawang is located in the eastern Himalayan Mountains. It is an important Buddhist center in northeast India. Sitting about 3048 meters above from sea level, it is known for many important and beautiful monasteries and is famous as the birthplace of the Dalai Lama. Tawang is a place that will wrap you up in the scent of natural beauty. There has a 400 years old huge monastery in Tawang, and they call it ‘Golden Namgyal Lhatse’. It is an important pilgrimage site for followers of Buddhism and this monastery is one of the biggest monasteries found in India. It has been recognized as the second largest monastery in the world.

The beautiful city of Tawang is also called as Dawang, has many beautiful scenery and views to make your trip great. Being risky for mountain roads, Tawang was not so famous, but in recent times Tawang tourism is slowly gaining popularity because of its attractive beauty.

Bomdila (1 night)

Bomdila is remote area with blessings of Himalayas. And once was a part of the Tibetan kingdom in middle ages. Bomdila is known for its natural environment including its Buddhist monastery and apple orchids. It is set in the mighty Himalayas at an altitude of 2530 meters above sea level. It is one of the top tourist destinations in Arunachal Pradesh. The area around Bomdila has several trekking and hiking trails that attract adventure seekers. Bomdila has some Buddhist monasteries or gompas. Not only Buddhist monasteries, Hindu temples are also seen here in Bomdila. This offbeat paradise also provide chances to visit wildlife sanctuaries.

Sessa Orchid Sanctuary has deep valleys, high hills as well as low altitude hills. This beautiful sanctuary contains over 200 species of orchids. One kind of bear, Red panda is found here. This sanctuary is s must watch place in Bomdila. Another sanctuary, named Eagle-nest, contains many kind of birds like- hornbill, Eagle, duck, colourful kingfishers. Royal Bengal tigers, elephants are also seen here.
